All the servers will be shutdown when this is being done and the chassis does have two Cisco 3020 switches along with 2 Brocade 4GB switches.

Unless you have another need to shut down the servers while the OA upgrade is ongoing, you do not need to do it. The OA upgrade is non-disruptive to the servers.
Of cause, you cannot power on/off servers etc. while it is happening. However, the running servers will keep running, without network disruptions or anything like that.
