It’s rear side of C7000 enclosure.
Nothings from SAW and Quick View.

Vasyl 写了:This is Intelligent Power Module for the Intelligent Power Discovery/Management
You need to connect it by USB cables to OAs to get/report extended power/location information.
Nick 写了:Interesting thread.
Does this mean that if a customer has the this module plugged in it has to stay plugged in?
if so I assume this takes away the option of sticking a USB key in the back of the OA to mount ISO images?
Mark 写了:If you don’t have iPDU or don’t care about IPD functionality, then you can do whatever you want with your USB connector.
But if you have an iPDU and are using the IPD functionality, then you’ll want to keep this plugged in “as much as possible”.
If the connection is broken (ie. you stick in a USB key to mount an ISO image), IPD will stop working.
But once the connection is restored, IPD will start working again.
James 写了:Would it be possible to put a USB hub on the OA so both functionalities could work at the same time?
Mark 写了:The initial design was to actually embed a USB hub directly into the new intelligent power module so that it wouldn’t tie up the USB port for IPD functionality.
...
And I checked with the team and they tested an external hub and it worked.
