"Trunking Mode" in the port statistics status

Robert 写了:Can anyone explain the "Trunking Mode" in the port statistics status?

I have a customer who is looking at detailed statistics for an uplink port on a Flex-10 module. The port is a member of a shared uplink set, and as can be seen below is Linked/Active. The question is why does the ‘Trunking Mode’ value report ‘NONE’ under the Port Status section. In the lab, I attempted to get this to change to anything else by creating a tunneled network, or changing the SUS/Network connection mode to failover instead of auto. Nothing I was able to change effected any change in the ‘Trunking Mode’. I realize this is not an issue, as there are no problems in the environment, but I am being put to the test to explain the parameter.

The User Guide and help states:

Trunking Mode - Trunking mode of the port, for example AUTO

Mark 写了:Uplink Ports
If the Connection Mode is “Auto”, then it should reflect Trunking Mode: Auto
If the Connection Mode is “Failover”, then it should either reflect Trunking Mode: Primary or Trunking Mode: Secondary

Stacking Links
Should never change, always reflect Trunking Mode: Auto

Downlinks
Should never change, always reflect Trunking Mode: None

And beginning in VC 3.70

FC Uplinks
The field should be removed, as it doesn’t apply.

I know this works in VC 3.60 correctly.
